5.0 音調 (Tones)

白話字總共有八音, 其中第二音和第六音相同.
There are eight tones total. The second tone is the same as the sixth tone.

5.1 第一音　(The First Tone)

第一音無聲調記號. There is no tone's marking for the first tone.

5.3 第三音　(The Third Tone)

第三音聲調記號是 “ 、 ” . The Third tone's marking is “ 、 ” .

5.4 第四音　(The Fourth Tone)

第四音無聲調記號, 但字尾必需是h, t, k, 或 p.
The fourh tone has no marking but the suffix must be either h, t, k, or p.
